1. The competition

1.1. The promoter and organiser of this competition is Aonic AB (Publ) dba Megabit Publishing, a public limited liability company incorporated in Sweden with its registered office at Västra Trädgårdsgatan 15 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden, and registration number 559335-7527 ("Megabit", "we" or "us").

1.2. These terms and conditions govern the legal relationship between Megabit and you (referred to in these terms and conditions as “you”) in relation to the competition.

1.3. Please read these terms and conditions carefully, and in particular clauses 8.1 and 8.3 regarding how Megabit will handle your personal data in relation to the competition.

1.4. The title of the competition is Lou’s Lagoon: Special Delivery Campaign Giveaway

2. How to participate

2.1. No purchase is necessary.

2.2. By submitting an Entry, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2.3. The competition is a prize draw being operated by Megabit

2.4. To enter this competition you are required to comment underneath the launch video, follow Lou’s Lagoon on the social channel you have viewed the launch video, (Lou’s Lagoon TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@louslagoon_game or Lou’s Lagoon Instagram https://www.instagram.com/louslagoon_game) and must add Lou’s Lagoon to  your Steam wishlist - (https://store.steampowered.com/app/2100020/Lous_Lagoon/)

2.5. An Entry will be void and not entered into this competition if:

2.5.1. it does not comply with these terms and conditions; or

2.5.2. you are considered, in the sole discretion of Megabit, to be part of an attempt to manipulate or unfairly influence the outcome of this competition or your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of this competition.

2.6. Megabit’s decision as to whether You are eligible for this competition is final and Megabit is not obliged to provide any reasons for disqualification.

3. Entry Period

3.1. The competition will start at 00:01 (British Summer Time) on 17 April 2025 and close at 23:59 (British Summer Time) on 29 April 2025 inclusive ("Entry Period").

4. Selection of the winner

4.1. There are 11 winners.

4.2. The winners of the prize draw will be the first entrant randomly selected from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions via gleam.io’s randomised ‘Draw Winners’ tool.

5. Prize

5.1. Prizes will differ depending on tier of winner (11 tiers total) but could include any of the following: Lou’s Lagoon branded merch, Nintendo Switch, headphones, keyboard, jewellery, candle, printed art, apparel, a mug, a bike helmet.

5.2. There is no alternative prize.

5.3. The prize is for the named winner only and cannot be given or transferred to any other person. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on the winner's behalf.

5.4. Megabit is not responsible for any customs charges or import taxes arising from shipping of the prize, which will be payable by the winner.

6. Restrictions and requirements

6.1. The competition is open to any legal resident in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands aged 18 years old or older, except:

6.1.1. employees of Megabit or its holding or subsidiary companies; or

6.1.2. members of the immediate families or households of clauses 6.1.1.

6.2. Megabit may ask for proof of age, residence or eligibility. Delay or failure to provide the evidence to our reasonable satisfaction may result in an entry being void or a prize being forfeited.

7. Notification of the results and receipt of the prize

7.1. Megabit will notify the winner via Direct Message on social media or email within 2 weeks of the Entry Period closing.

7.2. Megabit shall publish or make available information indicating that a valid award took place. Megabit shall announce the winner in a post published from one of Megabit’s social media accounts.

7.3. Megabit will provide instructions to the winner on how to claim the prize.

7.4. If the winner has not claimed their prize within 14 days of its announcement, the prize will be forfeited and Megabit will select an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the process described above (and that winner in turn will also have 14 days to claim their prize).

7.5. Subject to clause 6.2, the winner shall receive the prize within 30 days of claiming the prize unless delivery is delayed due to circumstances outside of Megabit’s control.

7.6. Megabit does not accept any responsibility or liability if you are not able to take up the prize for any reason.

8. Publicity and personal information

8.1. By entering this competition, you agree to your personal information being used to process your entry and to contact you about your entry. If you are selected as the winner, in order to claim the prize, you are required to provide your name, residential address and your telephone number and you consent to such information being transferred to a third party for the purpose of delivering the prize. Megabit will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and Megabit’s privacy policy for Lou’s Lagoon (https://megabit-publishing.com/policies/louslagoon-privacy-policy).

8.2. You may be asked to participate in publicity relating to this competition if you are selected as the winner.

9. General

9.1. While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit Megabit' liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, insofar as is permitted by law, Megabit, and their agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be legally responsible or liable to compensation any entrants or winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death caused by Megabit, or any third party on their behalf (including, but not limited to, its agents or distributors or that of their employees) or occurring as a result of entering the competition or taking up the prize.

9.2. Megabit reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

9.3. The laws of England and Wales apply to these terms and conditions, although if you are resident elsewhere you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the laws of that country.

9.4. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
