Greetings, Commanders!

Our third post-launch update has just arrived and is packed with overall quality of life improvements, balance changes and bug fixes.

As special thanks for your continued support, the update will also contain brand new skins for your mechs! We'll share these throughout the post below. You can apply these to your in-game squad back at Resistance HQ.

Update 3 SC 1

General Improvements

  • Added clearer UI cues for incoming Mortar Planes, Bomber Planes, and Airships.
  • Enhanced visual feedback when your units take damage, including improved overhead markers and updated unit frames.
  • Boss health bars now display segmented indicators to mark phase transitions.
  • Ability Augments now display any stat changes they apply directly on the Augment rewards.
  • Added loading screen hints for regrouping, setting target priorities, and using the mark target feature.
  • Introduced Mech Skins so you can now customise your entire squad before heading into battle.

Balancing Changes

Difficulty

  • Increased difficulty rating of the Thunderhead, Steelhawk and there elite variants so these enemy Mechs shouldn't spawn as early in runs.
  • Reduced damage of Mortars from the Mortar Planes in the British Isles from 75 to 50.
  • Reduced spawn rate of Mortar Planes in British Isles from every 15 seconds to 20 seconds.
  • Elite nodes in the British Isles region now don't start appearing until later in the region.
  • Reduced damage of the Bomber Plane in Scandinavia from 100 to 60.
  • Reduced spawn rate of the Bomber Plane in the Scandinavia Boss fight from every 12 seconds to 20 seconds.

Gameplay

  • Increased duration of Ruptured Status Effect from 4 to 5 seconds.
  • Increased duration of Burn Status Effect from 4 to 5 seconds.
  • Increased duration of Blind Status Effect from 4 to 5 seconds.
  • Increased duration of Defective Status Effect from 4 to 5 seconds.
  • Increased duration of Exposed Status Effect from 4 to 5 seconds.
  • Decreased duration of Tagged Status Effect from 2 to 1.5 seconds.

Field Repairs

  • Field Repairs duration has been reduced from 8 to 7.5 seconds.
    • The number of times it heals stays the same but now heals slightly faster.
  • Field Repairs Rapid Calibrations fire rate increase duration has been increase from 6 to 10 seconds.
  • Field Repairs Dead Drop damage has been increased from 100 to 200.
  • Field Repairs Disruptor now also increases duration of Field Repairs by .5 seconds each time the Unit using it is attacked (up to 2.5s).

Airstrike

  • Airstrikes Long Fuse damage bonus has been increased from 50% to 75%.
  • Airstrikes Danger Close has been reworked.
    • Airstrikes damage is increased by 75% if targeted within 2 tiles of the Pilots Mech.
    • Fixed an issue where bonus damage was being applied even when augment wasn't equipped.
  • Airstrikes Double Explosion now only deals 50% damage on the second strike.
  • Airstrikes Incendiary Bombs fire damage has been increased from 5 to 15.
  • Airstrikes Stun Bombs now requires a critical hit to Disable the enemy and now also increases the abilities critical chance by 15%.

Remote Mine

  • Remote Mines fire damage has been increased from 5 to 10.
  • Remote Mines Far Away has been simplified and no longer ramps up over time, instead its damage is now increased by 75% after moving at least 4 tiles.
  • Remote Mines Fuel for the Fire now also increases the damage of the fire by 50%.
  • Remote Mines Fire Trail now also increases the Hunter Seekers movement speed by 50%.
  • Remote Mines Shocking Impact now reduces the Hunter Seekers movement speed by 25%.
Update 3 SC 3

Jump Jet

  • Jump Jets Armor Smasher damage against armored units has been increased from 50% to 75%.
  • Jump Jets Bombing Run bombs now deal 50 damage instead of 10% of Jump Jets damage.
  • Jump Jets Shock and Awe now also reduces the Jump Jets damage by 20%.
  • Jump Jets Meteor damage increase per tile has been reduced from 10% to 7.5%.
  • Jump Jets Return now grants the Mech 50% fire rate for 10 seconds when it returns.
  • Jump Jets Takeoff now also increases Jump Jets chance to deal critical damage by 25%.

Mine Drop

  • Mine Drops Cluster reduced damage has been increased from -25% to -35%.
  • Mine Drops Scorched Earth fire damage has been increased from 10 to 20.
  • Mine Drops Waiting Game damage increase each second has been increased from 1% to 2%.
  • Mine Drops Short Fuse now increases damage by 30% instead of reducing damage by 10%.
  • Mine Drops Costless Charge cooldown increase has been increased from 5 to 10 seconds.
  • Mine Drops Sightbreaker now also increase the Mines chance to deal critical damage by 25%.

Molten Bastion

  • Molten Bastions Scorched Salvage now gives 20 armor per armored enemy hit instead of the armor gain being based off damage dealt.
    • Fixed Scorched Salvage not triggering correctly on enemies when the damage removes the enemies armor.
  • Molten Bastions Bulwark Overload has been rescaled from 10% damage every 100 armor to 5% damage every 50 armor.
  • Molten Bastions Thermal Redirection armor gain has been reduced from 50% to 30% and its damage reduction lowered from -50% to -30%.
  • Molten Bastions Blazing Torrent now increases damage against Troops by 100%, up from 50%.
  • Molten Bastions Critical Resurgence armor gain increase at low health has been reduced from 50% to 40%.
  • Molten Bastions Flameborne Shield now also increases the Mechs fire rate by 50% for the abilities duration.

Mechano-Arm

  • Mechano-Arms Overcharge healing per charge has been increased from 10% to 15%.
  • Mechano-Arms Fortify cooldown increase now adds 10 seconds to the cooldown, up from 5 seconds.

Field Sentry

  • Field Sentries Explosive Sentry now also increases its attack range by 1.
  • Field Sentries Fire Sentry now also increases its damage by 50%.
    • Fixed being able to equip both the Explosive Sentry and Fire Sentry augment at the same time.
  • Field Sentries Sturdy now increases health by 150, up from 50, and it now only deals 20% less damage, down from 40%.
  • Field Sentries Suppressing Fire now also increases its critical chance by 25%.
  • Field Sentries Death from Above description has been updated to better describe the bonuses it applies.
Update 3 SC 4

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed rare cases where fire would not appear correctly on tiles.
  • Fixed modules being removed from inventory before fusing had actually occurred.
  • Fixed fuse information displaying before any modules actually selected to be fused.
  • Fixed Remote Mine not de-spawning correctly after exploding.
  • Fixed British Isles boss mortars damaging the Research Lab.
  • Fixed British Isles Boss not continuing to destroy the Research Lab after exiting his Hunker Down phase.
