Here’s what we’re talking about this time:
✈️ Plane Customization
Lou’s Lagoon will feature different customizable plane parts—bodies, wings, engines, patterns and colors! In the devlog, we share how the system for exchanging plane parts works and the challenges we faced getting everything to fit together just right.
🌪️ The Tornado
Meet a new hazard in the overworld: the tornado! This segment covers the creation of the tornado’s visuals and the tech behind how it pulls your plane in. It’s a bit like a physics class in gamedev!
🌍 Overworld Assets
Our team has been busy creating new overworld assets, and we talk about the challenges of designing objects that look great from high up in the sky. (Fun fact: things can seem a lot smaller when you’re flying!)
🏁 Air Race
We’re working on a new flying challenge! It’s not fully finished yet, but you can get an early look at it in the devlog. We’re hoping it will shape up to add some exciting variety to the overworld!
