Red Thread Games offered a fresh look at the highly anticipated survival mystery Hello Sunshine with a new trailer exclusively unveiled at the PC Gaming Show Most Wanted, where it was also revealed that Hello Sunshine will be published by UK publisher, Megabit when the game launches in 2026.

Watch the new trailer and get a glimpse of what to expect in the game here:

Whether alone or with a friend in co-op, players walk in the shadow of a giant robot across a scorched, war-torn world. There is one simple rule: stay out of the sun. Step outside the robot’s shade during the day and players will find that the punishing heat will eventually kill them; remain close, and they might last until nightfall.

However, survival means leaving the robot’s shadow to scavenge for water, food, and resources. The wastelands are littered with the wreckage of a fallen corporate empire — abandoned service stations, shattered machinery, half-dead drones, and ruins still humming with autonomous tech. Everything salvaged can be recycled and turned into weapons, tools, and protective gear.

When the robot stops to recharge at night, players make camp. Cook, craft, repair, and upgrade equipment — including the robot itself. The bond between human and machine deepens over time, shaped by how players treat their towering companion. At the campfire, visiting strangers may drift into the firelight with stories that hint at what really happened to the world.

Will players piece together the mystery of this broken world before it’s too late?
