About us
Megabit is Aonic’s new publishing arm that was created to support its 1st and 3rd party studio partners. Key titles under Megabit currently in development include OtherSide Entertainment’s Thick As Thieves, the surreal fever dream OMUT from Madame Cyclone, Grit and Valor 1949 from Milky Tea, and the cozy open world adventure Lou’s Lagoon from Tiny Roar.
The Role
As part of the Growth team, the Growth Data Analyst will help define the data and reporting systems within the Megabit Publishing organisation. You will use data and your analytical mindset to shape marketing and growth plans, quantify new opportunities and identify challenges across our PC and Console titles.
You’ll work closely with our marketing team, agency partners and studios to analyse, report and tell our data-driven stories to stakeholders and management by using clear insights and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Establish a seamless integration of data from various systems for easy access and usability to ensure accuracy of reporting and consistency across business metrics.
- Conduct analysis on paid media campaigns and marketing/content effectiveness to determine which initiatives and tactics provide the greatest results.
- Generate reports and dashboards that provide insights into the impact of growth and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure that tracking is properly implemented to be able to determine attribution across PC/console platforms.
- Transform raw data into meaningful insights and recommendations, acting as a "data storyteller" to deliver actionable analysis to stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to define and track KPIs as well as forecast objectives.
- Support the team in building marketing attribution models and media mix models and to derive insights from those for optimised budget allocations.
Key Skills & Experience
- Relevant education in marketing and/or data analysis.
- 2+ years' experience in a relevant marketing analytics role, ideally in the entertainment or gaming industry
- Experienced user of Web Analytics platform (Adobe Analytics and/or GA)
- Working knowledge and experience with SQL and Python to extract and manipulate data is desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of data integration from various sources, including CRM, web analytics, and paid media platforms is a must.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to ensure consistent data quality across reports and maintain reporting services through dashboards.
- Demonstrable experience in translating technical information into digestible and actionable insights.
- A passion for games with a strong interest and knowledge of latest trends and industry innovations.
