Key titles under Megabit currently in development include Warren Spector’s highly anticipated Thick as Thieves from Otherside Entertainment and the open world adventure Lou’s Lagoon from Tiny Roar and more.

Position Overview

The Publishing Assistant role is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a newly formed videogame publisher and learn from experienced and friendly colleagues whilst being a crucial part of shaping our future success.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be helping to support all teams from Marketing to Community to Growth to Ops to Executives with a plethora of tasks that will help take our products to the widest possible audience, to include at various times:

  • Documentation and Reporting: Assemble, maintain and update project documentation where needed, including schedules, budgets, getting PO’s and SOWs signed, and compile and organize data for weekly or monthly reports.

  • Playtesting/Ambassador Group Support: Assist Community team in the work needed to gather data from real players and help ensure crucial feedback from testers is communicated to the development team.

  • Marketing and Promotion: Assist in managing the marketing schedule to ensure timely delivery of game assets and deliverables, coordinating with various departments.
    • Support the team in creating creative assets, including presentations or briefing items for agencies.  Help coordinate marketing campaigns and events.
    • Ensure the timely delivery of localised and versioned assets to first party and other partners.
    • Work with marketing teams to ensure all storefront assets are updated, uploaded and ready for launch, and all required localisation is translated and reviewed.

  • Website and digital content update: You will be responsible for uploading content to the website maintaining it up to date. You will work with community managers to produce blog posts, brief required assets as well as manage the localisation and QA of text in different languages.

  • Administrative Tasks: Proactively schedule meetings and prepare meeting agendas, as well as tracking outputs and follow up

  • Research and Analysis: Analyze industry trends and competitor activities, play our titles, and competitor titles to feed into internal discussions.
